PvP thumbnails live on impact. The best ones freeze the exact frame a hit lands: a sword swing, a crystal exploding, an opponent knocked back. Gear matters too — netherite, enchant glint and a totem pop tell viewers how high-level the fight is.
Pose the swing at full extension with the opponent recoiling. Add hit particles or a red flash so the moment of impact is unmistakable.
Enchanted netherite and a held totem signal endgame PvP; iron and a stone sword signal a different video. Match the gear to the content.
You and your opponent should fill most of the frame. Skip the background detail; a blurred arena or a solid colour keeps the focus on the fight.
