Bedwars viewers know the game, so the thumbnail can be specific: a broken bed, a last-second clutch over the void, a rush across the bridge. Team colours do a lot of the work — a red and a blue player facing off reads as Bedwars before anyone reads the title.
The bed is the genre's icon. Show it about to break, or already broken behind your character, and the stakes explain themselves.
Dye armour and wool in clear team colours. Two strong colours against a dark void background stay readable at feed size.
Mid-air poses with blocks under the feet, a fireball or TNT on its way — action beats a standing pose every time.
