Parkour thumbnails are about the jump. A player frozen mid-air over a gap that looks impossible — with lava, the void or a long fall underneath — is the whole pitch. Bright, saturated course blocks keep it readable even when the background is busy.
Pose the character between two blocks with clear space underneath. A player standing on a block isn't a parkour thumbnail.
Use perspective: the landing block small and far away, the drop deep. Lava or the void under the jump raises the stakes.
Concrete and wool in bright colours read well at small sizes and signal a parkour map instantly.
